The Deus Modern difference

Why you'll love it

★

Made in the USA

Every mailbox is built by our team in Cookeville, Tennessee — so it ships on time and it's made right.

◆

Built to last

Rust can't touch it. Full aluminum construction, stainless hardware, and architect-grade powder coating.

▣

Extra capacity

Bigger than a standard USPS mailbox, with room for the mail and the packages that used to pile up.

❖

The warmth of wood

Sublimated wood-grain finishes give you the look of teak or cherry — with none of the warping, graying, or upkeep.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What are the mailboxes made of?

Heavy-gauge aluminum with stainless hardware and an architect-grade powder-coat finish, so the box itself won't rust. The one exception is the small magnetic door-catch tabs — they're steel, so in coastal or northern climates they can pick up light surface rust if they aren't wiped down now and then. An occasional wipe keeps them clean.

Is a post included?

Posts are sold separately so you can match your setup. We offer several post styles designed to pair with every mailbox.

Can I mount it on my existing post?

Usually, yes. Our boxes fit standard mounting brackets, and our Universal Mounting Plate adapts most non-Deus or unusual posts. Send us a photo and we'll confirm.

How tall are the address numbers?

About 2.5 inches tall and laser-cut on both sides — clearly visible and comfortably within USPS guidelines.

How is the 12V LED upgrade powered?

You can choose from two power options when you order. Both use the same warm-white LED panels joined by the Y-harness. The Low Voltage 12V option uses an AC/DC adapter and ties into an existing low-voltage landscape-lighting run (or new low-voltage wire run to the mailbox). The 120V plug-in option powers it from a standard exterior household outlet near the mailbox. Not sure which fits your setup? Email hello@deusmodern.com and we'll help you pick.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Email us right away at hello@deusmodern.com with a photo and we'll get a replacement out to you as fast as we can.

Crisp, Linear and Modern!

As obsessed Modernists with highly exacting design standards, we are extraordinarily pleased with our new Stand-up Address Sign fabricated by Deus Modern. The ordering process was seamless; our subsequent request to right-justify the address was approved without delay; and the sign arrived safely and securely packaged. The laser cuts are beautifully crafted. Our only wish would be for Deus Modern to expand its offerings beyond mailboxes and address signs!

A modern approach to numbering your home!

Our new address sign is the perfect addition to our modern home - it is easy to install, very visible from the street, and looks great with our matching Deus Modern mailbox. The quality is top-notch and despite several high wind storms the sign has not budged. We are the first in our neighborhood to have one of these but I bet we won’t be the last...
